While searching for something else, I stumbled upon your web page decrying last season's performance of The Barber of Seville. I noticed that you qualified my response to your angry letter as smirking and as "f--- you."
Just wanted to drop you a quick line to say I certainly didn't mean it to be smirking and I certainly didn't use the F word. I just wanted to acknowledge your letter with a response. I was actually trying to be respectful of your opinions while acknowledging that there were other opinions out there. Sorry to have made you even more angry. It certainly wasn't my intention.
