Were I but King of Anglophonia

Literally

The King literally hates it when he hears Anglophonians using literally as an intensifier when referring to things that they can't possibly mean literally. And when he says he literally hates it, he really means he literally hates it - actually, truthfully, in reality.

Example: "I literally died!" Why, then, are you still alive?

Literally doesn't mean "Not really, but I feel strongly about this." It means in actual fact. Use the word sparingly and accurately.
