This page, which shows how long it will be until I retire at age 70, is obviously of no interest to anyone else. (Assuming that my coworkers aren't eagerly counting the seconds till I go.) But if you want a simple JavaScript counter showing the time until some significant event, you can copy this page and change it appropriately. It's easy to change, even if you don't know JavaScript.
Originally, I was counting days, but that made it seem depressingly long, so I switched to weeks. That number doesn't look so huge.
